ABOUT US

Empower Development Center is making a tremendous difference in Allendale County and surrounding areas. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, and our mission is to create opportunities for people in Allendale and surrounding areas that will promote health, education, and financial independence. Our organization has been very busy since we were established in April 2020.

We have hosted summer camps, sponsored kids to go to STEM camps, provided education on the hazards of smoking and vaping, and started a youth advocacy center that has supported 50 of our students in Allendale and surrounding areas teaching life- skills that will help our students to be successful.

We have also partnered with a local business to offer driver’s education to our youths. In addition, we are currently sponsoring an afterschool program that has helped hundreds of our children in Allendale County and surrounding areas.

We provide meals to Allendale County citizens and surrounding areas by providing lunch every Tuesday - cost-free. This initiative currently feeds around 900 people each month.
